The Home Hub will sponsor East Kilbride YM (over 35s) strips for the club’s upcoming season.
The new strips have just arrived and will be used in this season’s football games.
Kevin McCarthy, Joint Managing Director for The Home Hub, said: “We met with manager Andy Dykes and he explained why the over 35s league, and EK YM, is so necessary in keeping up the fitness of men over 35 but added that because of the cost-of-living crisis it can be difficult to cover all of their costs.
“Craig and I both used to play football so we do understand how important football is in terms of general fitness as well as maintaining good mental health and, as keen members of the local community, we wanted to find a way to help them.
Craig McIntosh, Joint Managing Director for The Home Hub added: “We really do welcome this new sponsorship agreement. I don’t get to play football as often as I would like anymore but this sponsorship agreement will get me out and about as I follow the team.
“As well as sponsoring the team, we have offered them a new referral scheme which will mean that we give them an additional £100 for every mortgage and estate agency referral which results in a mortgage or estate agency sale. This way, the club will continue to benefit from the deal throughout the season and we can help more people to save money/find the best deals on their mortgages, home insurances and utility bills.”
Andy Dykes, Club Manager said: “Massive thanks to The Home Hub for sponsoring our new set of Home strips for the new season. As part of our exciting sponsorship deal The Home Hub has kindly agreed to provide our team with a brand new set of strips as well as offer us an amazing opportunity to raise more money for the team through a unique referral scheme for players, friends and family.
“For every referral which results in a completed mortgage or estate agency sale, they will support the team further and give the team a £100 bonus to help with the running costs for our season. This is an unbelievable gesture and will help the club greatly.”
